We absolutely love the trails and possibilities for outdoor fun, off the bike adventure activities and bonding for our teammates and coaches. With any luck, it'll be even better next year! The kids worked under the guidance of trail crew lead Serge Viau from @valleymountainbikers , learning about proper trimming and clearing of overgrown vegetation, removal of debris, sticks, rocks and raking of leaves. Our 2025 Teen Trail Corps weekend was kicked off b Our 2025 Teen Trail Corps weekend was kicked off by some of our students working on trails at a private property on Friday and then continued today, when 16 students, coaches and volunteers spent their morning at Jacobsburg State Park trails, working together with VMB @valleymountainbikers trail crew Serge Viau as our guide, cleaning out some overgrown vegetation at this @padcnr park. Including pre-season trail work hours, this brings the team to a combined 126 volunteer hours so far. As we are gearing up for PICL Teen Trail Corps (TT As we are gearing up for PICL Teen Trail Corps (TTC) weekend and scheduled maintenance work at Jacobsburg State Park this Sunday, we want to give a shout-out to the kids, coaches and parent volunteers who already got a headstart at Trex this past Sunday, assisting the trail crew with vegetation control along Buck Run, while collectively providing over 32 hours of volunteer trailwork in collaboration with our team sponsors and trail managers @valleymountainbikers and the dedicated Trex trail crew. Trail stewardship and working with land managers is such an important part of being a mountainbiker. Without volunteer manpower, none of our trails and resources would be possible. Newly licensed Coach Bridgette Reid is a PICL and team alumni who graduated last year. She currently studies at Penn State Abington for RPTM, which stands for Recreation, Park, and Tourism Management and has decided to give back to the team and become a coach. Bridgette is our third alumni student returning as coach, proof that kids who ride bikes tend to enjoy this for a lifetime. Another day, another fantastic coach to introduce. Another day, another fantastic coach to introduce. Meet Bob Jones, the new head coach for our Lehigh Valley Lightning teams. Bob has been an IPMBA Certified Bike Officer for 17 years and an IPMBA Instructor for 10 years. He joined the team with his son Henry last season and quickly leveled up to a level 3 coach. During our off season he started the Lehigh Valley Thunder team together with a few other coaches and students who wanted to continue racing in the Mid Atlantic Super Series. PRACTICE LOCATIONS

Most of our practice throughout the season is held at Jordan Creek Parkway, where middle and high school students of all skill levels can join us for basic skills practice, adventure riding and skilled race practice. On weekends we ride at Jordan, TREX and NOX depending on weather conditions. Come ride with us!
