The team came together for a pre- season Teen Tra The team came together for a pre- season Teen Trail Corps work day at our home trail at Jordan Creek Parkway. With 33 student and coach volunteers, we cleared the Luby Loops section at Jordan Creek Pkwy, raking, leaf blowing and removing any fallen branches and debris and early spring overgrowth. This trail work was completed in collaboration with Valley Mountain Bikers and with approval from Lehigh County. As our seniors are getting ready for their graduat As our seniors are getting ready for their graduation 🎓, we wish them all the best, continued success in all their future plans and goals! Some of them have raced with our team since their 6th grade. Looking to level up your senior year by joining our team, racing at fun venues and challenging yourself to learning new skills? Registration for all students grade 5-12 is opening April 13th!
Our race season is now coming to and end but we ar Our race season is now coming to and end but we are not quite at the finish line yet! Adventure continues, because why stop when you are having this much fun, right?! For our students it's been a fun and exciting summer filled with new experiences, new skills, new friends, thrilling races, with many personal and team wide successes and growth. From Adventure rides, Local Dirt races, practicing skills or helping trail crews through Teen Trail Corps with trail maintenance, there are so many stories to tell and pictures to share. We gained awesome new coaches and engaged parent volunteers and look forward to how they can help us grow in the coming seasons as a team! We came together as a team through adventure and friendship, and we are stoked for even more adventure riding at Raystown, some fun events with our season sponsor Valley Mountain Bikers like Trexxxfest and Noxturnal Ride and of course, let's not forget NICA Regionals in Elkton for our High Schoolers and our upcoming Season End Party and Awards at the American Club on November 18! We would like to thank our season sponsors who have helped us grow our Lehigh Valley Lightning Teams LVC MTB East, LVC MTB West, Emmaus HS, Parkland HS and Northwestern Lehigh HS while keeping their jerseys look sharp! Our final Championship recognition goes out to Evi Our final Championship recognition goes out to Evie Scholz, who earned the 5th place podium in the 2025 PICL State Championship at Hershey in JV3 Female category for our Emmaus Team. Evie is a seasoned PICL student athlete and no stranger to the podium, but we are extra thrilled for her accomplishment of earning a podium at each race this season. This perfectly aligns with her season goals, which she had shared at the beginning of the summer. At Hershey, she entered the race not feeling too sure about this new course, but by the time we met up with her at the finish line, she already had changed her mind. We are convinced she happily rides her bike just about anywhere with a smile! Now that our PICL season is coming to a close, you can be sure to find her racing at Fifth Street Cross Cyclocross, fun events like Trexxxfest or just out and about riding on our Lehigh Valley trails with her family. Please join us in congratulating Evie! Well done!
Our second 3rd place finisher at the PICL State Ch Our second 3rd place finisher at the PICL State Championship at Hershey this past weekend is no other than Addie Meier of our Emmaus team! After some dramatic race experiences early in the season with infield pileups and crashes, Addie truly shined at the top of the podiums at conference races and was absolutely determined to earn a spot on those steps at Hershey as well. Only in her second season of MTB racing, she's really loving the ride, no pun intended! She's raced at MASS early season and her hard work is clearly paying off! You cannot miss her and her great sportsmanship, big smile and sunny attitude out on the trail! We are so thrilled for Addie and her accomplishments this season! Congratulations!
We continue recognizing our PICL State Championshi We continue recognizing our PICL State Championship Winners at Hershey this past weekend. Our 3rd place 8th grade winner is Harlow Pesesko, competing for our Lehigh Valley Composite MTB West team this season. Harlow had a late start to her season after some health restrictions that forced her off her bike for much of the first half of this year, so we could not be more proud of her strong comeback and determination to keep riding to the top with several podium finishes at state and conference races! Huzzah, Harlow! We cannot wait to see where you go from here in High School racing next season!
Celebrating our Hershey State Championship Winners Celebrating our Hershey State Championship Winners! Let's hear it for our Middle School Advanced Student Athlete Evan Lichtenwalner! Evan has been crushing it all season, so it we were full of hope he would bring home his State Championship Title at Hershey as well! Well Done Evan! Now go crush it at Fifth Street Cross cyclocross racing and enjoy Trexxxfest!

PRACTICE LOCATIONS

Most of our practice throughout the season is held at Jordan Creek Parkway, where middle and high school students of all skill levels can join us for basic skills practice, adventure riding and skilled race practice. On weekends we ride at Jordan, TREX and NOX depending on weather conditions. Come ride with us!
